Written by Evgeniya “Jane” Kozhevnikova in 2020, “A Better Resurrection” is a setting of Christina Rossetti’s poem for SATB and piano (also available for solo voice and piano). The solo version of this piece appears on the album Lift Up Your Hearts (2022), performed by Joel Snyder and Jane Kozhevnikova. It was premiered live by Benjamin Schoening and Vivian Doublestein on March 2, 2023. The poem invites the listener for a journey from being broken to restored and resurrected with God.
